Our Savior Jesus Christ is the vine and we are the
branches, so you may ask what is this fruit? The answer
is found in the Book of Galatians, for it is written; THE FRUIT OF
THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS,
GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS AND SELF
CONTROL. AGAINST SUCH THINGS THERE IS NO LAW.
( GALATIANS 5:22-23 )
The fruit of the Spirit is the work of the Holy Spirit within
us, for it produces these character traits in us. It helps us to
become more like Christ, which should be the goal of every
Christian.
