“THE WIND BLOWS WHERE IT WISHES, AND YOU HEAR THE SOUND OF IT, BUT CANNOT TELL WHERE IT COMES FROM AND WHERE IT GOES.  SO IS EVERYONE WHO IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT.”
( JOHN 3:8 *NJKV )

What Jesus was referring to here is the Holy Spirit.  It often works in mysterious ways that we can’t predict, or at times even understand.  Just like the wind, we cannot control it either.

When you think about it, we could not control our physical birth, nor could we control our Spiritual Birth!   For through our accepting Jesus as our Savoir we become born again, this time of the Spirit!  That is a promise from Jesus Christ!

“I REMEMBER THE WORD OF THE LORD, AND HOW HE SAID, JOHN INDEED BAPTIZED WITH WATER BUT YOU SHALL BE BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT!”   ( ACTS 11:16 )

Jesus also stated “THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE FLESH IS FLESH, AND THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT.”  ( JOHN 3:6 )  

“I SAY THEN:  WALK IN THE SPIRIT, AND YOU SHALL NOT FULFILL THE LUSTS OF THE FLESH.”
( GALATIANS 5:16 )

Now our Spiritual Birth is one of the greatest gifts of them all!
For it comes with the fruit of the Spirit, and 

“THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, AND SELF CONTROL.”  ( GALATIANS 5:22 )  

The more we love our Heavenly Father, the more of these gifts He to gives us!
