Happy 4th. of July 
…………………….THOUGHT FOR THE DAY…………………….
The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of His
bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to
bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to
many nations but will borrow from none. The
Lord will make you the head, not the tail.
( Deuteronomy 28:12-13 *NIV )
Whenever I read those verses I think about this Nation and all
of the blessings that God has given to it. I think about our founding
fathers and how much they relied on God and openly worshiped
Him as well.
Now since the horrible events of Sept 11th, we seem to have
united under the flag, and Church attendance has increased
dramatically. It is my hope that we as a Nation will continue on
that path.
So, on this our Nation’s Birthday, let us pray for our troops.
Let us pray for this Country and all of its Political Leaders to
return to God and openly worship Him as our forefathers did.
Also that we as a People recognize what great blessings our
Heavenly Father has given to this Nation! Please join with me
in that prayer! Amen.
